ACT/SAT Prep Classroom Teacher/Tutor- Part Time
Description: ACT/SAT Prep Classroom Teacher/Tutor will contribute to ACT Preparation, LLC mission by providing exemplary instruction in ACT/SAT skills, strategies, and material review. The teacher will present Instruction using a pre-written PowerPoint presentation. Classes are scheduled evenings, Saturdays and occasionally on weekdays.
Responsibilities:
Follow and teach curriculum as written
Manage a classroom independently
Engage with students and respond to questions
Maintain records
Communicate with other staff
Ability to learn and teach new curriculum
Requirements:
ACT/SAT Prep Classroom Teacher/Tutor should have the following skills, education, and experience:
Minimum bachelor’s in education or related field
Experience working with students
Ability to learn new curriculum and present the curriculum to high school students including high school math and English.
Ability to work independently
Ability to present using PowerPoint
Teaching/presentation skills
Willingness to teach at multiple locations in Northeast Ohio
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
